England midfielder and Tottenham Hotspur club captain, Ledley King is set to miss England's Euro 2008 qualifiers in September against Israel and Russia after failing to make an immediate recovery from knee surgery. He went under the knife in mid-June to repair a damaged meniscus in his left knee and he had hoped that he would be fit to resume playing again within six to eight weeks. But according to reports last Friday, King could take up to 12 weeks to regain full fitness, missing England’s next two euro qualifiers.
