Thermoplastic glazing material used for the roofs of 3 UEFA Euro 2008 stadiums

GE Plastics recently announced that the stadiums where UEFA Euro 2008 Championships is to be held will be fully protected by its Lexan Thermoclear sheet, the plastic roofs that were selected for several well known Olympic stadiums including Barcelona and Sydney in addition to six arenas for UEFA Euro 2004 football championship hosted by Portugal. At present Lexan Thermoclear sheet is being used for the roofs of three stadiums for the UEFA Euro 2008 football championship: Wankdorf stadium in Bern, Switzerland, and Klagenfurt and Salzburg stadiums in Austria. About 4,000 sq. meters of Lexan Thermoclear SunXP sheet will be used for the Wankdorf facility and the Austrian stadiums will be glazed with Lexan Thermoclear sheet.
