Andreas Isaksson uncertain for Group F qualifier against Denmark

Sweden goalkeeper Andreas Isaksson is at risk of making it to Sweden's Euro 2008 Group F qualifier against Denmark in September after breaking a thumb. Isaksson, 25, has suffered a hairline fracture of the thumb and is expected to be sidelined for four weeks. He currently plays for Manchester City in England and for the Swedish national team.

Isaksson did not play in Manchester City's pre-season game against Valencia after suffering the injury and the English club announced he would be out for the first month of the season.
Sweden leads Group F with 18 points from seven games, three points clear of Spain and five ahead of Northern Ireland.

Sweden’s Euro 2008 Group F qualifier against Denmark will be enthusiastically anticipated after the Sweden team was awarded a 3-0 win from their meeting in June, when the match was abandoned after a Danish fan attacked the referee.
