Zlatan Ibrahimovic back in Sweden's squad for Euro 2008 qualifier

Zlatan Ibrahimovic, one of Sweden's key players has been included in the 21-man squad for next month's European Championship qualifiers by the Sweden coach Lars Lagerback. He underwent surgery less than a month ago but team physiotherapist Johan Sandberg hopes Ibrahimovic is likely to recover in time for the games against Denmark on June 2 and Iceland on June 6. Sweden, second in Group F, is bidding to qualify for its fifth straight major championship and is one point behind Northern Ireland which has played one more game than Sweden.

Sweden Squad:

Goalkeepers: Andreas Isaksson, Rami Shaaban.

Defenders: Petter Hansson, Daniel Majstorovic, Olof Mellberg, Mikael Nilsson, Max von Schlebrugge, Fredrik Stenman.

Midfielders: Niclas Alexandersson, Daniel Andersson, Kennedy Bakircioglu, Samuel Holmen, Tobias Linderoth, Fredrik Ljungberg, Rade Prica, Anders Svensson, Christian Wilhelmsson.


Strikers: Marcus Allback, Johan Elmander, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Markus Rosenberg.
